My Badgley Mischka shoes!

So as a wedding gift my most amazing cousin & god sister Leah, bought me the Badglay Mischka shoes I have been dyeing to get. They are super high, (4 1/2 inches) but so worth it!!

38 Days?!

Did The Knot really just tell me there are only 38 days until the wedding?  What happen to all the time I had? Better get my ass in gear....

So the RSVP is up to 89. hummmmm, sounds like a pretty good number. I told my mom that i'd like to have 100 people at the wedding, that means only 11 more people can come........but 52 people have not RSVP'ed yet.....my mother is going to kill me!

Everything's going so well.

so, as the days go by everything is coming together. I just finished the sandalwood fans, now I have to work on the raffia ones. The colored lanterns came in the mail today (finally) and they look great. Just need to find and buy my geta for my Kimono and heels for my reception dress, plus a bunch of other stuff. my whole family has been so amazing through out all the planning and I can't thank that enough for all their help and support leading up to our super fabulous day!

49 Days

The Knot.com says there are 49 days until the wedding, that sounds like craziness to me. There is still so much to do even with all my early planning. We have so much to do, although we have done so much already. Things are coming together nicely from shoes and dresses to suits and decor and all that good stuff. Its going to be an amazing day!

The Art of the RSVP

RSVP is an initialism derived from the French phase repondez s'il vous plait, meaning "Please respond". Sounds pretty simple but 78% of Americans never take the time to do it (I made that number up). I myself have been known not to RSVP, or even worse, RSVP yes and not show up at all. Its such a simple thing to do, a simple task asked of you from your host. Being in the position of host many times I try my best to get it done because I know how it feels. Whether it be an RSVP of "Yes" or an RSVP of "No", Its very helpful in the planning of an event. So that being said, don't come out and ask why you didn't get any yummy ass cake if you did not RSVP, get on it my little buggies.

The Butter Dress!

So I was thinking that if I lost this weight I could wear the butter dress as my reception dress. Today has been a good day as far as eating and i'm more determined then ever to make this happen. so wish me luck.
